Hardware Index
98 drones across prosumer cinema, heavy-lift cinema, consumer camera, enterprise mapping and enterprise thermal. Specs, sensors, kit cost and FAA tier in one schema.
Field-corrected specs for 98 airframes, service-rate benchmarks across 100 US metros and drone-delivery program tracking. Researched by working Part 107 pilots, served over REST, Postgres and a hosted MCP server your AI agents can query in plain English.

Normalized, deduplicated and recalculated for the field. Every record carries its source, method and verification date, so your team can audit any number it ships.

Recalculate usable flight time, mission radius and mapping coverage for any wind, temperature, elevation and battery reserve. The engine behind airpixels.com/drones, as an endpoint.
What drone work costs: low, typical and high rates for 13 job types in 100 US metros. Built for quoting engines, marketplaces and procurement teams.
Every tracked delivery program: operator, metro, aircraft, status and service area, followed from first trial to scaled operations.
Demand signals from the Air Pixels Job Board and pilot community: which jobs are posted, where, and at what rates. Join the waitlist to shape the schema.
Need a dataset that does not exist yet? Our pilot network collects it to your spec: airframe testing, regional pricing studies, fleet audits. Delivered into the same API.
Access
Give an AI agent a drone expert, wire the data into your app, or query it straight from your warehouse. Same records, same key, same terms.
Point Claude, Cursor or your own agent at one URL. Read-only tools search, compare and recalculate drones in plain English, with no glue code.
JSON over HTTPS with filters, cursor pagination and an OpenAPI spec. Drop live specs, rates and comparisons into any product.
Fleet Licenses get a read-only Postgres replica or scheduled Parquet and CSV drops into your warehouse.
Paste into Claude Desktop, Cursor or any MCP client. Your agent gets read-only tools scoped to your plan. mcp.airpixels.com/v1

Pricing & Licensing
Every plan includes MCP and REST access. You pay for volume and for the rights you need: internal use, display in your product, or redistribution to your clients.
Evaluate the data and prototype.
Internal tools, research and early products.
Customer-facing apps and production AI agents.
Redistribution, warehouses and commissioned research.
Data Packs. Need a file, not an API? License an annual snapshot of the Hardware Index or Rate Benchmarks as CSV + Parquet, from $1,200 per dataset for internal use.
Usage Estimator
One call is one REST request or one MCP tool invocation, returning up to 100 records.

Why Air Pixels Data
Brochure numbers assume perfect conditions. Ours are recalculated for the field, reviewed by people who fly for a living, and documented so you can defend them.
Specs are recalculated for wind, temperature, elevation and reserve, and reviewed by FAA Part 107 pilots instead of scraped from spec sheets.
Each row carries its source, method and verified_at timestamp, so your analysts and auditors can trace any value.
Schema changes ship behind versioned endpoints with a public changelog and webhooks, so nothing breaks under you.
Every plan states exactly where the data may appear: internally, inside your product, or resold to your clients.
Who Builds On It
Underwrite by airframe weight, FAA tier and real-world endurance.
Price drone jobs against metro-level rate benchmarks.
Embed live spec tables and comparison widgets that stay current.
Shortlist airframes for the missions and conditions you actually fly.
Connect the MCP server and your assistant answers drone questions with sourced data.
Track hardware trends, pricing shifts and delivery programs over time.
FAQ
The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI assistants use to call tools. Add our server URL to Claude, Cursor or your own agent and it can search, compare and recalculate drones on its own, citing the source of each value.
Explorer is free for 1,000 calls a month. Builder is $79 a month for 25,000 calls, Operator is $299 a month for 150,000 calls, and Fleet Licenses start at $1,500 a month on an annual contract. Annual billing gives you two months free.
Manufacturer documentation, FAA sources and Air Pixels field research, normalized by our team and run through the same model as the Drone Comparison Engine. Every record lists its source.
The Data API is in early access. Request access on this page and we will issue Explorer keys and onboard paid plans in batches.
Yes, from Operator up, with an Air Pixels attribution. Reselling or passing the data to your own clients (B2B) and white-labelling require a Fleet License.
Agent retrieval over MCP is allowed on every plan. Training or fine-tuning models on the data requires a Fleet License with the training add-on.
Explorer pauses at its limit. Builder and Operator bill overage per call at the listed rate, and you can set a hard spending cap from the dashboard.
Fleet Licenses include an uptime SLA, SSO, a data processing agreement and help with your security questionnaire. Keys are scoped, rotatable and read-only.
